Introduction

We strive to ensure that all visitors can enjoy the accommodation, facilities and surroundings within the park.  Our aim is to help in any way that we can and if you require assistance during your stay or whilst planning your visit, we will be delighted to assist.  Our current facilities and services offered are:

Pre-Arrival

• We have one holiday home for hire.  There are 168 privately owned holiday homes. We can offer email and fax.  We can post a copy of this access statement if required.  The train station is 1.5m away.  The local taxi company has accessible taxis.  The nearest grocery shop and Post Office are 1m away.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• The office/reception area has a large tarmac car park.  There is rear access available to vehicles.  The park is lit at night.  The signs are large with clear writing.

Main Entrance & Reception

• Access to the reception is directly from the car park.  There is a small step 400mm into the reception with a weather strip as well.  Assistance can be provided.  A pad and pen can be provided.  Lighting is uniform and natural.  Provision for service dogs can be provided.

Public Areas – General (Internal)

• Tarmac roads service all parts of the park.

. There are ramps on the park which are clearly marked.

. The public phone is the original ‘red phone box’ and is not easily accessible.

. The reception area is 3m square.  The office is accessible.

Public Areas – WC

• There is one public toilet next to the reception.  There is a small step into it, 400mm.  It is partially accessible.

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe

Laundry

• The laundry is part of the office building.

. There is a small step into it, 400mm.

. There are two front loader washing machines at floor level.

. There are two tumble dryers which are 1.4m high.

. Assistance is available at the office.

. The hand wash sink is 1.2m high.

. Iron and ironing board are available on request from the office.

Additional Information

• There are two holiday homes available for hire.  There are three steps to get in.  The access to the bedrooms is less than 1m.

. Parking is not always directly in front of the holiday home.  There are some holiday homes which have reserved parking.

. There is no smoking in public areas and the holiday hire caravan.
